Are you a really organized logistics nerds who cares about our agency’s mission? We’re growing our women-owned agency and have an opening for a part-time project manager. Beyond client-driven work, BlackPaint also has many agency-driven initiatives that support our mission (art installations, events, general trouble making and advocacy, merchandise/store). The Producer/Project Manager will serve in a “command central” role and be in charge of keeping both client and agency- driven projects on track by coordinating things like workflow, resources, budgets, timelines and processes.
The schedule will be Monday—Thursday 12-5pm at our Walker’s Point location in Milwaukee, plus 3-5 floating hours per week for either working from home and/or attending our quarterly events. (Open to adjusting the in-studio shifts to accommodate the right candidate’s schedule.) Salary based on experience. Benefits include paid vacation and a healthcare stipend. Potential to grow in the role over time.

• Are extraordinarily organized and detail-oriented = a spreadsheet-loving logistics nerd
• Have 2-3 years of experience in a similar “command central” project management role coordinating things like workflow, resources/materials, budgets, timelines and processes
• Have above average written and verbal communication skills (any kind of formal background in writing is a big bonus)
• Are confident enough to boss around bosses
• Have experience and/or willingness to work in an all-hands-on-deck small creative team and wear many hats
• Can drive and command client and internal meetings
• Are graceful under pressure, yet comfortable in the bad guy role (prefer to embrace and resolve conflict, and are comfortable having tough conversations)
• Have experience improving existing processes
• Get things done quickly and accurately
• Are self-motivated and an independent thinker
• Have either a Bachelor’s degree (ideally in communications, writing, journalism, business or marketing) or equivalent real-world work experience
• Are responsible af and have references to back that up
• Have a genuine, demonstrated passion for advocacy work and our mission

• Have experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or CRM tools
• Have experience working with creatives and understand the creative mind
• Have experience working with printers and vendors
